The incident took place on Thursday around 11am. Additional Deputy Commissioner Shafiul Alam said: “When the Tahirpur–bound steel-loaded truck reached the Bailey bridge it collapsed into a ditch.”Firefighters rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies and rescued five others, he added. Identities of the injured and deceased could not be known yet. Road communication between Bishwambharpur and Tahirpur has been disconnected following the incident.
