Two people are dead after being thrown from their vehicle by a tornado that touched down near Virden, Man., on Friday night, RCMP say. Tammy Skelton lives in Virden, Man., and saw the tornado from above her house on Friday night. Several grain bins torn down in the Virden, Man., area were destroyed by the tornado on Friday night. Hydro poles along a highway near Virden, Man., were seriously damaged by a tornado that touched down there on Friday night.
