The incidents occurred around 3pm on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Shanto Hossain,12, and Rina Khatun, 28. The injured were Shahnaj Khatun, 35, Rehena Khatun, 40 , Kabil Pramanik,50 , and Musa Hossain, 13. Shanto and the others were returning home in the middle of the rain while they were struck by a lightning bolt.
