Of the total complaints received from air passengers against domestic airlines in August 2018, around 63% were against Air India and Jet Airways (including JetLite). Almost all airlines have closed the registered complaints, spare Air India, which is yet to close 62 of the 228 complaints against it. The ratio of complaint per 10,000 passengers was 1.6 for Air India, 1.2 for Jet Airways and JetLite, and 0.3 for IndiGo. Meanwhile, Air India, Jet Airways and IndiGo also have the highest passenger load when compared with other airlines. When contacted, Air India official, said, "Any complaint in Air India is viewed seriously and stern action taken".
