Police present the four convicts – jailed in different terms for killing a child – in front of the Tangail Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 Dhaka Tribune|Tangail Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Khaleda Yasmin passed the order on TuesdayA court in Tangail today sentenced two persons to jail until death and two others to ten-year imprisonment for abducting and murdering a child in 2013. The court also fined, the two convicts jailed until death -- Jahangir Hossain, 30, and Gautam Chandra Arya, 30 -- Tk1 lakh each, in default. Khaleda Yasmin, judge of the Tangail Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, delivered the verdict on Tuesday. The convicts abducted the child on a motorcycle from the spot. After examining the records and witnesses, the judge delivered the verdict this Tuesday noon.
