SAN PEDRO CITY – Two suspected drug pushers were killed in separate police operations in Rizal province. Rowel Acaso was slain in a shootout around 7 a.m. on Thursday in Barangay (village) Cupang in Antipolo City. ADVERTISEMENTAcaso resisted arrest after police recovered a still undetermined amount of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and engaged law enforcers in a gunfight. Another drug suspect Mark Bryant Lubaton was killed in a police shootout in Binangonan town. The Rizal police, in its report, said Lubaton died in a buy-bust operation around 6 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay San Carlos.
