LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers in separate operations in Candelaria town in Quezon province Sunday night, police said. ADVERTISEMENTEarlier, the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Jaypee de Ocampo, 19, in another buy-bust in the same village. Police seized one sachet containing crystal meth worth P666 and the marked money used in buying the illegal drugs. Following the mass surrender and arrest of drug pushers and users due to massive government anti-drug campaign, the remnants of drug syndicates operating in Quezon recruited youngsters as new drug peddlers. The syndicate also provides firearms to some of their new recruits as incentives.
