ANN ARBOR, MI - Officers briefly arrested a pair of striking graduate student instructors as they protested outside a restaurant where University of Michigan President Santa Ono was eating, police said. The two individuals were detained for disorderly conduct in the late afternoon of Thursday, April 20 at Fifth and East Washington streets, said Deputy Chief Melissa Overton of the university’s Division of Public Safety and Security.
