COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two Filipino tourists who are residents of this city have been reported missing on a beach in Phuket, Thailand. Noah Ilbay, 40, and Angelo Cortez, 29, were reportedly carried by big waves on Freedom Beach. The victims and their 11 companions left for Thailand earlier this week. The Department of Foreign Affairs said the Philippine embassy in Bangkok is monitoring the case. – Pia Lee-Brago
