But then, it wasn’t a very surprising end since we’d had rain nearly every day since arriving. With a few days to go I figured I’d check the weather: rain, every day. A few months earlier I’d visited the Big Island of Hawaii, and there too the weather forecast was for non-stop rain. However, “rain every day” there meant rain at night, or for a hour during the day, and the rest was of the time was gorgeous. One spot was the Mantaray Island Resort, which was lovely.
