As many as 19 sheep and a dog were killed after being struck by lightning in Halegera village in Yadgir taluk. Villagers alleged that officials from the Revenue Department or other departments have not reached them yet to study the loss due to rain, lightning and hailstorm. According to village sources, several trees were uprooted in Sagar village and residents themselves were trying to clear them from the ground. Meanwhile, Yadgir Rural Police visited Halagera, where 19 sheep and a dog were killed after being struck by lightning, and completed formalities.
