The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said there is about 184,377 uncollected Permanent Voter Cards in Adamawa. Mr Kàsim Gaidam, state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner disclosed this during stakeholders’ meeting on the final preparation for the 2019 general elections held on Wednesday in Yola. In his remarks, Mr Muhammed Mukaddas, state Commissioner of Police said the command was ready to tackle any civil security challenge. Mr. Bolade oluri, state Director DSS, said Adamawa was relatively peaceful except some areas of Madagali. Oluri assured the stakeholders that elections would be conducted in all designated areas of this state.
