Rescuers used hand tools in a desperate search for around 20 people buried in a landslide in Natonin town in Mountain Province. Four persons were reportedly killed in another landslide in Banaue, Ifugao province, and still another in a fire in Sagada, Mountain Province. Malacañang also on Wednesday expressed its condolences to the victims of the massive landslide in Natonin. “Most of the affected rice crops are on their reproductive stage, which were reported as partly damaged,” the DA said.
