Villanueva met with Philippine ambassador to United Kingdom Antonio Lagdameo along with British businessmen Bruno De Penanster, Ananas Anam and Michael Cheong of Manning Impex to discuss employment opportunities available for Filipinos in the UK. At present, Britain is looking for civil engineers, foremen, nurses, caregivers, computer programmers, cooks, bookkeepers, and cashiers, among others.
