The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) has reported 166 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday: 45 cases on Christmas Day, 46 on Boxing Day and 75 on Sunday. There are 670 active cases in the area as of Sunday. Meanwhile, Ontario is reporting 2,005 new COVID-19 cases and 18 more deaths on Sunday. Southwestern Public Health reported 27 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, 23 on Saturday and 37 on Sunday, CBC News confirmed. There were four new COVID-19 cases and 53 active cases last reported on Thursday.
