— A 16-year-old boy has died after an all-terrain vehicle accident in Quebec’s Laurentians region. Provincial police say the boy was discovered shortly after 4 a.m. this morning in the municipality of Notre-Dame-du-Laus. First responders’ resuscitation efforts failed to revive the unconscious teenager, who later died in hospital. Marie-Michele Moore says the boy was not wearing a helmet and that alcohol may have been involved in the tragic accident. Police say the boy, whose home is a nearly two-hour-drive from the accident scene, was alone.
