DHAKA, Feb 25, 2024 (BSS) - The 15th martyrdom anniversary of the slain army officers in the barbaric killings at BDR (now BGB) headquarters, Pilkhana on February 25-26 in 2009 was observed today with due dignity. On behalf of the Prime Minister, her military secretary Major General Kabir Ahmed paid homage to the martyrs by placing wreaths at their graves, said an ISPR release. After laying the wreaths, one minute silence was observed in honour of the martyrs while the serving military personnel gave a salute. Senior military officers of the Army, Navy and Air Force, JCOs and military personnel of other ranks, family members and close relatives of the martyrs were present on the occasion. Besides, milad mahfil and special munajat were held in presence of army personnel of all ranks in the central mosque of all cantonments seeking eternal peace of the souls of the martyrs.
