One person has been arrested over the gang-rape of a 15-year-old girl while keeping her hostage at Jurain Ideal High on April 28. “Police have nabbed Swapan, a security guard of the school, after the rape case was lodged,” said Kazi Wazed Ali, officer-in-charge of Kodomtoli police station. She had left her husband’s residence on the evening of April 28 over a domestic issue and was not a student of the school. The victim lodged a case on April 29 with Kodomtoli police station against the eight. In the first information report (FIR), the victim said the gang had hired a rickshaw for her after the rape.
