Fifteen people appeared before local courts in Roscommon for burglary offences in the first nine months of 2025, latest figures from the Irish Courts Service reveal. Eleven of them appeared before Roscommon District Court while four were before Roscommon Circuit Court over this period. Local courts in Carrick-on-Shannon had one of the lowest number of people before the courts for burglary offences. A total of 1,187 people nationwide were before the district courts across Ireland for burglary offences in the first nine months of 2025. A further 347 people were sent forward for trial in the circuit court for burglary offences between January and September 2025.
