more-inBengaluru: A 14-year-old boy committed suicide in his house in Madanayakanahalli on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday. He left behind a note stating that he was taking the extreme step as his parents were forcing him to focus on academics. The boy, Vikas Acharya, was a resident of Dasanapura and was in standard 7 of a private school. As a result, he was repeatedly reprimanded by his parents and teachers. He had recently told his mother that he was not interested in school, a police officer said.
