14-year-old dies after collision between e-scooter and carGardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Co. Kilkenny on Saturday. The collision involving an e-scooter and a car occurred on the Tullaroan Road at Bonnettstown shortly before 6:30pm. A male youth, 14 years old, travelling on the e-scooter was transferred to St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny where he has since passed away from his injuries. The road was closed overnight to facilitate a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, which took place this morning.
