Tapah OCPD Supt Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail said the bus from Penang was headed towards Genting Highlands. He said the workers, aged from 19 and 42, had chartered the express bus to go for a holiday at the hill resort. “There were 30 passengers, comprising locals and foreigners from Indonesia and Nepal, in the bus, but 14 of them sustained minor injuries, and were sent to the Tapah Hospital for treatment. “We are investigating the case under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, ” he added.
