14-party alliance to hold peace rally in Kamrangirchar on Nov 14DHAKA, Nov 11, 2023 (BSS) - The 14-party alliance led by ruling Awami Leaguewill hold a peace rally at Kamrangirchar in the capital on November 14(Tuesday) to protest the terrorism, sabotage and anarchy of BNP-Jamaat evilforces. The rally will begin at 3 pm under the initiative of the central 14-partyalliance, according to today's press release signed by AL Deputy OfficeSecretary Sayem Khan. In presence of the Central 14-party leaders, AL Advisory Council Member andcentral 14-party alliance spokesperson Amir Hossain Amu will preside over therally, the release added. Meanwhile, leaders and workers of 24 thanas and 75 wards of Dhaka South Cityunit of Awami League (AL) will remain on alert tomorrow to protest theblockade programmes called by BNP. Dhaka City South AL President Abu Ahmed Mannafi, veteran freedom fighter andits general secretary Humayun Kabir gave this instruction to the leaders andactivists of thana/ward units, said Dhaka South City unit of AL OfficeSecretary Riaz Uddin Riaz today.
