Confirming the incident, Yatta police commander Joseph Karanja said the bus belonging to Medina Company was headed to Nairobi from Mandera. "The bus coming from Mandera heading to Nairobi rammed into a stalled lorry by the roadside. The police boss said the injured are receiving treatment at the Matuu Level 4 Hospital. Karanja warned drivers travelling at night to be cautious to avoid accidents. "Drivers should be cautious and more so, those travelling at night to avoid causing avoidable accidents,” he said.
