MANILA, Philippines – Fourteen drug suspects landed in jail while some P400,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) were confiscated in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Pandacan, Manila within a two-day span. The Manila Police District’s Pandacan station on Thursday said the team of Capt. Pidencio Saballo Jr. arrested the 14 suspects during anti-drug operations from Monday to Tuesday night. Their arrest stemmed from a report of a concerned citizen that the suspects were in a drug session in the area. Sixty-one grams of shabu valued at P400,000; marked money worth P1,500, a digital weighing scale; plastic sachets and drug-using items were recovered from the suspects.
