I’m going to take the bus in for the day. So far, I’m going alone, but I’m trying to convince my mother and some friends to come with me. I’m going to Philadelphia from upstate New York, then it’s another five hours to Washington D.C. Fortunately, alumni from the graduate program I’m in offered to help cover some of the costs, so I’m going with a group of four students. I have a sense of hope that things will change, and I really think this country is great because of our diversity.
