Emergency services at the scene of the crash, as seen on NZTA's traffic cameras at 12.40am on Friday. A 12-year-old and an adult are dead after a car and truck collided in Christchurch. Emergency services were called at 12.20am on Friday after a truck and car collided at the intersection of Yaldhurst Rd and Russley Rd in Christchurch. A 12-year-old passenger and the adult driver of the car died. It is understood the driver of the truck suffered a broken leg and is in Christchurch Hospital.
