Ger Brennan’s 12-week suspension has been upheld by the Central Hearings Committee. The Dublin manager’s meeting took place on Thursday night but the committee’s decision, that the infraction was proven, was not confirmed until Friday. Brennan was served with the suspension for physically interfering with Galway strength and conditioning coach Cian Breathnach McGinn at half-time of the counties’ Division 1 final round game in Salthill last Sunday week. Breathnach McGinn was issued an eight-week ban for disruptive behaviour. Dublin recently staged a training camp in Johnstown House in Enfield but as Brennan was suspended he was not involved.
