DHAKA, Jan 26, 2026 (BSS) - At least 12 journalists were injured in an attack by extortionists and terrorists in front of Dream Holiday Park in Madhabdi of Narsingdi this evening. The injured journalists include Faiz Ahmed, Shahidul Islam Shahed, Mohsin Kabir, Sakhawat Kawsar and CRAB staff member Lal, among others. The seriously injured were rushed to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. Among the injured, six professional journalists sustained serious injuries to the head and other vital parts of their bodies. Narsingdi Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Abdullah Al-Faruk told BSS that police rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the information and arrested two suspects.
