The injured could not be identified as of yet. The situation in the camp is now under control, said Superintendent of police Mohammad Atikul Islam, commander of 14 APBN. He added saying: “Attempts are being made to arrest the Rohingyas who were involved in the clashes.”Atikul Islam said: “There has been a long-running feud over Yaba trade dominance between the Munna group in the Rohingya camp registered in Kutupalong of Ukhiya, and the Islam Mahad group in the unregistered Rohingya camp.”“As a continuation of this, the clashes started on Saturday with blank shootings and continued throughout Sunday as well.”During the clashes between the two sides, 20 huts and many water supply tanks were vandalized. Members of the two groups fled the scene after law enforcers including APBN members reached the spot upon getting information about the clashes.
