Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogTwelve Chinese nationals working in an online gambling facility in Pampanga were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) last December 19. NBI spokesperson Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin said the NBI’s Cybercrime Division (CCD) arrested the 12 Chinese nationals during an operation at a subdivision in Bacolor, Pampanga. It was also discovered that the 12 Chinese nationals secured tourist visas and not working permits. The arrested Chinese nationals were charged before the Department of Justice (DOJ) for violating Anti-Illegal Gambling Act as amended in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
