The entrance to an Arthurs Point property where the original home has been divided into three visitor accommodation units. A woman who risked the lives of visitors staying in illegal shipping containers in Queenstown has been fined $12,000. They were instead advertised on Airbnb and Bookabach as available for visitor accommodation. It was unclear how long the containers had been used for visitor accommodation and how much income they had earned. Queenstown Lakes District Council counsel Alice Balme earlier argued the fine should be set at $15,675.
