The apex court did not find enough eviden­ce to senten­ce the accuse­dThe Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday acquitted the alleged rapist and murderer of an 11-year-old girl after lack of evidence against him, reported Express News. The man was accused of raping and killing a girl in Turbat in 2012, but not enough evidence was presented against him in court. When the case was in trial court, it could also not be proven how the girl was killed. Trial court had handed down a death sentence to the accused. A high court had turned the death sentence into a life imprisonment after his appeal.
