LONDON, ONT.—The London Humane Society is investigating the discovery of 11 dead pythons. Executive director Judy Foster says a person in London, Ont., found the snakes last Friday morning while taking out their garbage. Foster says the snakes were brought to the humane society for examination Friday afternoon and says it appears the pythons may not have been properly cared for by their owner. The snakes were to be examined Monday to determine how they died, but Foster says the condition of the bodies indicates “neglect may have been a factor.”The humane society estimates the snakes were between one and three years old, and some were bigger than the city’s animal control bylaws allow.
