FILE - multiple car crash accidentCAIRO – 2 February 2018: Eleven people died, 29 other injured including a women and a three years old child, on Friday February 2, due to a multiple-car crash in Minya Governorate. Minya Security Prosecution allowed the victims’ families to receive and bury their relatives who died in the accident after being confirmed that the accident has no criminal suspicions. According to official statement by the Security Prosecution, a special investigation was opened to acquire into the details of the six cars crash and be in constant-communication with the victims’ families. Also any financial costs that emerged due to the accident will be covered by the government. World Health Organization (WHO) says that Egypt loses about 12,000 lives due to road traffic crashes every year.
