A 102-year-old man died after being trapped on his roof for three days. Former racing driver, Ron Easton, had climbed on to the roof of an extension on his Devon home with a bucket of tools, but got stuck after falling over or collapsing, according to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue. Friends raised the alarm after spotting three unopened milk bottles outside the 102-year-old’s home in Bigbury-on-Sea, Devon. He was taken to hospital in Plymouth but died on Friday. Mr. Easton was known locally as ‘Ton-Up Ron’ and could apparently regularly be seen driving in his blue MG.A flag in the village has reportedly been lowered to half mast, with a local tribute saying “Ton-Up Ron RIP.”(Yahoo News UK)(Visited 869 times, 245 visits today)DOWNLOAD THE PUNCH NEWS APP NOW ON
