Metro spotted a police team stopping bikers without helmets at the crossing of SN Banerjee Road and Jawaharlal Nehru Road in the afternoon. The maximum number of arrests — 36 — was from the east suburban division, which includes areas such as Entally, Maniktala, Ultadanga and Narkeldanga.
