10-year-old turns to police for help with math homework, officer helps through Facebook

Facebook user, Molly Draper, shared screenshots of her 10-year-old daughter's conversation with a Ohio police officer and it has gone viral. Lena Draper, 10, was having problems with a math question so she reached out to Ohio Police Department via Facebook messenger asking help. When a police officer in Marion, Ohio, saw this unusual request, he decided to help the 5th grader. "Take the answer from the first parenthesis plus the answer from the second parenthesis and multiply that answer times two. Work left to right doing the work inside [the] parenthesis first", the officer replied.
