This was after the bus they were traveling in was involved in an accident along the Wundanyi-Mwatate road in Taita-Taveta County. Okul says nine passengers died on the spot and another succumbed while undergoing treatment at the Moi County Referral Hospital in Voi town. The 12 passengers, among them five children and the driver, are recuperating with deep injuries at the said hospital.
