The mass axing of post boxes in Dunedin continues, as another 10 are scheduled for removal. ''These boxes are being removed as part of our continuing review of public posting boxes,'' Mr Rei said. NZ Post removed 21 post boxes from Dunedin last year. ''The amount of mail posted in post boxes continues to fall. When the 19 boxes were removed, more than 100 post boxes would remain in the wider Dunedin area, Mr Rei said.
