Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen made the revelation at a press conference on Wednesday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s participation at the 25th UN Climate Change Conference to be held in Madrid, the capital of Spain. In Mujib Borsha, we will plant 1 crore (10 million) saplings across the country,” he told reporters at the state guest house Padma. The foreign minister also urged all to plant saplings in their backyards. They have felled the trees; deforestation was widespread, in order to make way for livelihoods, and meet their needs.
