more-inPatamata police on Monday thwarted attempts made by an 11-member gang to claim ownership of a piece of land at Ramachandra Nagar in the city by creating fake documents. The accused allegedly tried to sell the plot to one Khaja Madhusudana Rao for ₹1.10 crore and even took ₹10 lakh towards advance. Khaja Madhusudana Rao joined hands with the gang apparently with the hope to benefit out of it in the future.
