The crash occurred when a Tamale-bound bus collided with another bus which was headed for Yendi. According to eyewitnesses, the accident which occurred on Thursday night was as a result of poor visibility due to a downpour hours before the crash. The accident involved a bus truck and Benz bus. We have conveyed the injured to the Yendi hospital and for the dead, we are taking them to Yendi mortuary.”
