Port Talbot finished 10th but was relegated instead of Rhyl due to financial problems. CARDIFF, Wales (AP) " The Welsh football federation says 10 people have been arrested for an alleged plot to fix a match in the Welsh Premier League in April. The case began after reports of suspicious betting patterns linked to Rhyl's 5-0 win over Port Talbot on Apr. The federation says "seven men and three women were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud" in an investigation by South Wales Police's economic crime unit. It was Rhyl's first win in almost six months before it finished 11th in the 12-team, semi-professional league, which provided no players to Wales' squad at the European Championship.
