The same man has survived what ended up being two fatal shootings in Ottawa's Lowertown neighbourhood, CBC News has learned. Paramedics said they found one man who was critically injured, while another man was seriously injured. The second man, whose injuries are considered not life-threatening, is the same 18-year-old who was shot only blocks away just five weeks ago, according to sources. It was the second man, whom CBC is not naming, who was targeted in that shooting. The location of the shooting is just blocks away from where a 20-year-old man was fatally shot in July.
