BigstockThe duo fought over payment of their liquor bill, the Detective Branch saysDetectives have arrested a man for allegedly killing another man in a drunken brawl in front of a Dhaka hotel last week. The incident took place in front of Hotel Sweet Dream in Banani, in the early hours of March 11, the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said. The accused, Babu Hawlader, 37, who is a master roll employee at a sub-registry office, was arrested in North Badda on Sunday night, the Detective Branch said. When it came to payment, Babu asked Shejad to split the bill, and the two started fighting over it. ADC Saklayen said during investigation, the detectives contacted the hotel authorities, collected CCTV footage from the area, and asked people around.
