A man has died after a fire in an apartment in Toronto's west end on Monday afternoon, police say. Toronto police say they received a report of dark smoke coming from the 20th floor of an apartment building just before 3 p.m. near Dunn Avenue and Queen Street West. Toronto police and fire services staff outside the apartment building near Queen Street West and Dunn Avenue. A man succumbed to his injuries after a fire broke out in an apartment unit on the 20th floor. Police had closed Dunn Avenue from Queen Street West to King Street West but the road has since been reopened.
