ON Eperson was confirmed dead while four others were injured after a steel bar from a Skyway extension project in Muntinlupa City collapsed on Saturday. Based on a police report sent to The Manila Times, the steel girder collapsed along East Service Road in Barangay Cupang. Police said combined elements of the Muntinlupa Rescue Team and Police Station 5 were on the scene. The accident congested traffic from the Muntinlupa East Service Road to Sucat in Parañaque. The EEI Corp., the contractor for the Skyway extension project, confirmed the death.
