One man is dead and one is injured after a shooting in a Leaside park on Tuesday evening, police say. Officers were called to Leonard Linton Park near Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue East at about 7:30 p.m.Callers reported hearing several gunshots in the area, people screaming and vehicles leaving, said Const. According to Toronto paramedics, one man was in life-threatening condition and was taken to a trauma centre in an emergency run. The other victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries. A minivan was seen riddled with bullets at the entrance to the park.
