India's confirmed coronavirus infections have crossed 10 million with new infections dipping to their lowest levels in three months. More than 79.85 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 1,752,116 have died, according to a Reuters tally. The deadly, highly infectious new coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China, a nearly a year ago. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
